Adlai E. Stevenson High School Residency

September 2012 featured a partnership between Stevenson High School and New Comma Baroque, a period-instrument ensemble with Baroque violinist Matthew Cataldi, harpsichordist Emily Katayama, gambist Phillip Serna and guest lutanist Joel Spears. New Comma Baroque held a daylong residency of lecture performances for orchestra and guitar classes, culminating in a community concert of French Baroque music.

New Comma Baroque is a program of the Renovo String Orchestra, a 501(c)(3) non-profit performing arts organization partially supported by a grant from the Evanston Arts Council,
a city agency supported by the City of Evanston, and the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency. All donations given to New Comma Baroque are tax-deductible.
